Book the weekend of October 7th and 8th, 2023 in your calendar for the second Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Festival, because after last year's first edition, we are continuing this year with an even richer program!
As we previously announced, the mission of the DŠOF is to take place every year at a different location within the Šibenik-Knin County and thus show all the natural beauty of our region, which is ideal for organizing outdoor sports activities. Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Festival is much more than a sports competition. It is a manifestation that gathers all lovers of nature and an active lifestyle who will be happy to spend two days in beautiful nature and have a lot of fun while doing it.
The second Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Festival will be held in Skradin and in the Čikola river canyon. Skradin is located fifteen kilometers from Šibenik and is one of the oldest Croatian cities. Thanks to the exceptional beauty of nature that abounds in karst areas, hilly paths, beautiful viewpoints, and its' location at the very entrance to the Krka National Park, which is why it is considered one of the most important tourist destinations in Croatia, Skradin is the ideal location for holding such a festival!
DŠOF Trail 5 km, 12.5 km and 24 km, sport climbing competition, SUP race, kayaking and MTB race 15 km and 24 km are this year's competitive disciplines that you can register for, show your sports skills and have a good time at the same time, enjoying nature and fresh air, in the company of your family or friends.
In addition, we organize free sports climbing and SUP workshops, in order to prepare for the competition or for the first time try one of the outdoor disciplines that attracts you. We also prepare free yoga workshops, a competition in traditional games for families and friends, sports training grounds for children and a fair of local products. Our hosts Marko and Sanja and DJ MengRen will take care of the great atmosphere and fun during the festival. Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Festival also has a humanitarian character, so we will donate a part of the paid registration fees to the Karate Club of OSI Krka Šibenik, and they will join us on the beach Krečana on Sunday, October 8 at 12 noon and demonstrate the competition kata.
The purchased registration fee includes a start package with gifts, a DŠOF T-shirt and a meal and drink.
