Summer at Barone: History and Culture in One Place

Barone Fortress, built in 1646 under the guidance of German baron Christoph Martin von Degenfeld, has a rich history. Key in defending Šibenik during the Cretan War in 1647, it now uses augmented reality technology to revive those historical moments.

In summer, Barone transforms into a jazz stage and open-air cinema. Barone Jazz Festival and Barone Summer Cinema bring excellent jazz concerts and selected film titles. Additionally, sunsets from the fortress, enjoyed with a favorite drink, create unforgettable moments.
